We're thrilled that you're here, and we understand that you might have some questions as you embark on your journey with us. We've compiled this comprehensive list of frequently asked questions to provide you with all the information you need to make the most of your farm-fresh experience.
Can I Customize My Order?
Absolutely! All of our subscription boxes are completely customizeable. Each Friday, after receiving our newsletter, you may log into the FPP website to make order changes to the pre-selected items and add any store items you wish. Just need to make all changes by our cut-off time on Mondays.
How Often Do You Deliver?
We delivery weekly. However you have the flexibility to receive your deliveries each week or every other week.
Is there a minimum order or delivery Fee?
Yes, our minimum order is $32 with FREE delivery. You may select items in our store to meet your minimum. The only items that are not included in meeting the minimum are items under the "Milk, Meat, & Eggs (Add-On items)" tab.
When is my payment processed?
Your order payment isn't processed until you've received your delivery and are completely satisfied with your order! We process payments the weekend after delivery.
Do I tIp My Delivery Driver?
All of our tips go straight to the team member who delivered your order. Tipping isn't required, but our drivers sure do appreciate your generosity when they've done a stellar job! You may tip through your online account when customizing your order.
When Is Delivery Day?
Delivery of your box will fall on the same day each week. Currently deliveries are made on Wednesdays & Thursdays depending on the location.
What Months Do you Deliver
We deliver all year round except for a few weeks in August. During our summer months we turn to our regional farms.
What happens during inclement weather?
Please understand that our business is in Mother Nature's hands! Due to inclement weather we may have to cancel a produce item, or even postpone or cancel a delivery. If this happens, we will do the best to notify you in a timely manner!
DO YOU RE-USE BOXES, THERMALS & ICE PACKS
YES! Front Porch Pickings is dedicated to keeping it green! Please leave the previous week's produce box, thermal pouches, ice packs, and any glass jars out on your delivery day so we can reuse for future deliveries.
What if an Item has quality issues
Produce fresh from the field isn't always perfect, but we want your order to be. If at any time you're unsatisfied with a product, please email us and we will gladly make it right for you.
Can I Pause my Deliveries for Vacation?
Heading on vacation? Not a problem! Just log into your member account by cut-off time to place your account on vacation. We love our members and want to be flexible but holds made after the cut-off cannot be refunded, as we have already placed your orders with farms and incurred the costs ourselves. However, if a hold must be placed, we can deliver to a friend in the area or donate the items to one of our charities.
How dO I cancel or Inactivate my Account?
No hard feelings if we aren't a perfect match! You can cancel or inactivate your account at any time. Simply fill out our cancellation form. Please understand, that all cancellations made after cut off will process on Friday after the scheduled delivery has been made.
